Peplink recently launched its Slim Antennas, the 22G and the 40G. Let’s take a look at what makes these antennas so special.
Peplink’s latest antennas, the Slim 22G, blend high performance with sleek, low-profile designs. Their ultra-wideband frequency range (600-6000MHz) provide robust support for LTE and 5G connectivity. Both offer that high performance in a compact form and can be mounted on a window, a wall, or even be hidden under a vehicle dashboard.
These antennas are built to endure tough environmental conditions, boasting an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. They can operate in extreme temperature ranges from -40° tot 176° F (-40° tot 80° C), ensuring reliability and longevity in diverse settings. They’re ideal for Recreational Vehicles, Transportation Connectivity, and Home/Office applications.
The Slim 22G is built for 5G with an Omnidirectional 2×2 MIMO mobile antenna. For Wi-Fi, it has 2×2 MIMO dual-band (2.4GHz) high-gain omnidirectional antennas for local coverage. It also includes a GPS antenna. It comes with an adhesive pad, double-sided, and fast-removing adhesive tape.
The Slim 40G steps things up to an even higher level, with an ultra-wideband 4×4 MIMO design that ensures exceptional performance. This antenna comes with the adhesive tape mounting options just like the 22G.
The small new Peplink antennas excel in scenarios where space is limited, mobility is important, and where simple installation is required. The Slim 22G allows you to include Wi-Fi to your antenna without the need for another Wi-Fi antenna. This could be useful if you also would like to use Wi-Fi WAN as a second WAN source. The Slim 40G antenna works good on the BR1 Pro 5G with the 4 LTE/5G antenna elements, as the Wi-Fi connectors are in the front you will need to have a different Wi-Fi antenna anyway to have easier cable management.
