In competitions like the Driverless Cup, UGent Racing cannot stay to their vehicle, making remote monitoring essential for tracking performance metrics and updating ECU code in real time. The BR1 Pro 5G utilizes cellular connectivity from Frontier EU, ensuring consistent network access even at high speeds. To further optimize reception and improve coverage, UGent Racing paired the router with a Mobility 42G antenna, which enhances stability and signal strength. This setup allows for uninterrupted data transmission, enabling real-time monitoring and diagnostics throughout competitions.
